LICENSE AGREEMENT

hexeosis VJ LOOPS video clips 

By purchasing, downloading and using hexeosis brand VJ LOOPS video clips, you agree to the following terms: 

THINGS YOU CAN DO UNDER THE LICENSE:

1 This License grants you, the purchaser, an ongoing, non-exclusive, commercial, worldwide license to make use of the video content (VIDEO) you have purchased, according to the following terms: 

2 You are licensed to use the VIDEO to create multiple End Products that incorporate the VIDEO such that each End Product is larger in scope and different in nature than the original VIDEO content. For example:  DVDs, websites, games, presentations, online videos, corporate videos, films, TV shows and advertisements.

3 The license also includes the right to use the Item as part of a public performance, broadcast or other public display. For example: usage at concerts, night clubs, performances, live shows, stage design, music visualization.

4 You can create End Products for yourself or for your clients. If you create an End Product for a client, then this license is sub-licensed to your client only for use in that specific End Product. This means that your client can use the VIDEO within the End Product on these license terms. But your client cannot extract or use the VIDEO separate from the End Product. You are responsible for ensuring that your client is aware of the licensing terms and restrictions.

5 You can make any number of copies of each End Product. You can distribute an End Product through multiple media, and you can broadcast it or make it available online to an unlimited number of viewers.

6 You can modify or manipulate the VIDEO, or combine the VIDEO with other works, to suit each End Product. The resulting works based on the VIDEO are subject to the terms of this license. You cannot claim ownership to the VIDEO, whether it’s in original form or altered under this clause. You can do the things allowed in this clause as long as each End Product you then create is one that’s permitted under clause 2. Example: you can edit, loop or stylize a video clip to suit the needs of your project. 

THINGS YOU CAN’T DO UNDER THE LICENSE:

7 You can’t re-distribute the VIDEO as a video clip, as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with a VIDEO either on its own or bundled with other items, even if you modify the VIDEO. You also can’t re-distribute the VIDEO as-is or with minor superficial modifications. Example: You can’t modify a VIDEO clip and distribute it as part of your own VJ loop pack. You can’t simply stylize or recolor a video and sell it as your own.

8 You can’t use the VIDEO in any application allowing an end user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application.

9 You can’t use the VIDEO (or still images extracted from it) for merchandising, which means an End Product where the primary value of the product lies in the VIDEO itself. Example of this: screensavers, e-cards, still images used as a design on physical products like t-shirts or stickers.

10 You must not permit an end user to extract the VIDEO and use it separately from an End Product.

11 You can’t claim trademark or service mark rights over the VIDEO within an End Product.

12 You can only use the VIDEO for lawful purposes. Also, you can’t use VIDEO in connection with defamatory, obscene or demeaning material, or in connection with sensitive subjects.

13 You must not use the VIDEO in violation of any export laws that apply to you.

14 This license will be terminated if you breach the agreement according the the above clauses.

15 hexeosis inc. is the author of the VIDEO and retains ownership and copyright of the VIDEO but grants you the license on these terms.
